I had to get out and do some work in the garden so I decided to bring you all along with me. Not only do I find working in the garden is a meditation on its own but having hobbies that you can do is so important when you deal with a chronic illness. I go over the modifications I've had to make for this to be possible for me too. Making videos is a year round hobby, but during the summer, I love this because it's an excuse to get outside and if things work out, you get so many fresh vegetables after a few weeks. 😊
It's been a minute since I made a longer video, so join me as I enjoy some quiet time before breakfast out in the backyard. I talk about how hard some shifts can be on me, how my latest neurologist appointment went and just overall about how life is right now.
Canada Day is July 1st and it's a day that we like to celebrate what's unique about Canada. I come from a place with really important history especially when it comes to medicine and healthcare in Canada so I thought I'd share that with you today. As someone who has a chronic illness, I feel like I offer a unique perspective on this.
It's July in Saskatchewan which means warm weather and for our family, going to different towns for car shows. I talk about enjoying true presence with the family and also share a garden update too.
As you may have noticed, there has been a significant break in my content. The main reason for this is because I just finished my second ever meditation retreat at the wonderful Art of Living Retreat Center near Boone, N.C. In this video, I talk about the schedule, share some photos and videos, and take you through my thoughts and insights from the retreat. Many of you have been asking me how it went, so here is my best attempt at that.

When it comes to energetics with whatever this shift is that is happening, it is wild. As someone who's dealt with very limited energy for a few years now, it's wild to experience the body literally buzzing. I doubt this will last but I just had to talk about it in the moment.
